William C. Bohlen, 93, of Grafton, died Monday, March 3, 1980, at Fillmore County Hospital.
He had been in ill health for sometime and was a resident of the Sutton Community Home the past four years.
He was the son of the Reverend Wessel Bohlen and Etta Jansen Bohlen, born in Summit, Ill., on June 16, 1886. He was the last survivor of the family of five sisters and three brothers. He was baptized and confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church, Summit.
As a young man, Will was a bookkeeper at Marshall Fields in Chicago.

He was the son of the Reverend Wessel Bohlen and Etta Jansen Bohlen, born in Summit, Ill., on June 16, 1886. He was the last survivor of the family of five sisters and three brothers. He was baptized and confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church, Summit.
As a young man, Will was a bookkeeper at Marshall Fields in Chicago.
He came to Grafton with his parents in 1907 and resided on the farm in Fillmore County the rest of his life.
For many years, he served on the Fillmore County Board of Supervisors.
Will was united in marriage to Marvel Witte of Grafton and to this union were born two daughters. He is survived by his wife, Marvel; his daughters, Mrs. Dale (Margaret) Witte of Edgar, and Mrs. John W. (Elaine) McCullough of Wichita, Kas.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
At the time of his death, he was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Shickley. He will be remembered by many relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by Pastor Ivan Peterson at Zion Lutheran Church in Shickley on Thursday, March 6, 1980. Interment was in Grafton Cemetery.
