Description	:	William Carl "Brownie" Brown, 88, died at 2:35 p.m. Nov. 23,1999 at Lima Memorial Hospital. Ho was born Feb. 5, 1911. in Terre Haute. Ind.. to Frank and Margaret Guess Brown. On Aug. 29, 1936. he married Clara Adams Sheeks, who survives. Mr. Brown retired in 1974 from Westinghouse, where he worked for 31 years. He also worked for Lima schools as a custodian. Survivors also include a son, two daughters, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother. Arthur "Bus" Brown. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at First Church of God. The Rev. Ken Mishler will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God. Lima News, Nov 23, 1999
