(Bill) Minton, well-known former Ellensburg resident, died from a heart attack Saturday afternoon at the Encoma shipyard where he was employed, according to word received here. He was stricken as he completed his Saturday shift. His daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Desmond, went to Tacoma Saturday evening and were to bring the body here for burial. Minton lived in Ellensburg for many years before going to Seattle last year to enter defense work.
