Description	:	WILLIAM CLAIR MORRISON Clari Morrison, 61, died unexpectedly last Monday afternoon at his farm home just north of Grant. The son of William and Vivian Dougherty Morrison, was born May 13, 1914 near Massena, Iowa. He attended Massena High School and lived most of his life in Cass and Montgomery Counties and spent the four years in the Army during World War 2. The son of William and Vivian Dougherty Morrison, was born May 13, 1914 near Massena, Iowa. He attended Massena High School and lived most of his life in Cass and Montgomery Counties and spent the four years in the Army during World War 2. He married Maxene Larson on October 20, 1947 at the Little Brown Church at Nashua, Iowa. He was a member of the Grant United Methodist Church and Grant American Legion. Surviving are his widow, Maxene; three daughters, Mrs. Ken (Marcia) Davidson of Lanham, Maryland; Mrs. Jack (Julie) Myers, Griswold; Mrs. Mike (Sallie) Merritt of Ames; a son, Scott Morrison living at home. Three grandchildren; Kimberly Myers, Kaela Myers, and Bryan Davidson; and his father, William Morrison, a resident of the Atlantic Care Center. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services were held Thursday, 10 a.m. at the Grant United Methodist Church with Rev. A. F. Schneck officiating. Musical selections were by Lynn Adams, accompanied by Mrs. Earl Spiker, organist. In charge of flowers were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Barr, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Orstad. Pall bearers were Don Bryson, Ronald Swartz, Earl DeVore, Glen Taylor, Carroll. Interment was in the Grant Cemetery.
