Buch, 81, brother of Leo Buch, Fairfield, died Thursday in Decatur, Ga. He had been employed at the waterworks in Davenport before going to Georgia. Last rites will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Clear Creek with the Rev. John Hebenstreit officiating. Buril will be in Clear Creek cemetery (sic. a/k/a Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery). The Rosary will be recited at the Powell Funeral Home in Keota at 8 p.m. Monday. W. C. Buch was born May 12, 1893, in Keota, the son of Constant and Anna Peiffer Buch. He was a veteran of World War I, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by two sons, Herbert W., Keyport, Wash., and Kenneth A., Decatur, Ga.; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; his brother, Leo Buch, Fairfield; and three sisters, Mrs. Theresa Horras (sic. Teresa), Keota; Mrs. Margaret Linnenkamp and Mrs. Reva Mineart, both of Mason City.
