A Celebration of Life will be held June 4 at WestWay Christian Church in Scottsbluff. Bill was born in Gering on Jan 25, 1930 to Harry and Edith(Bartow)Johns. Bill was a faithful and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who touched many lives in a kind and humble manner.Bill worked as a mechanic most of his life. Earlier years he did custom combining, worked at Scotts Bluff County Shop at Minatare, S&T Olds, and as owner of BJ's Appliance Repair for 35 years. His hobbies included golf, horseshoe tournaments, Husker games, woodworking, and building rocking horses to give away. He was a member of WestWay Christian Church. Survivors include Joyce, his loving wife of 60 years; his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; Jenni( Dwight) Barrett, Josh, Joel and Amy; Tim (Kathy) Johns, Zach and Lincoln; Steve (Sheryl) Johns, Amy( Andres) Jimenez, Izabella and Eli, Stephanie( Nels) Huffman, Hunter and Havyn; Sisters; Glenda Cook, Bonnie Hanna and Mary(Marvin) Jensen; Brothers-Marvin(Shirley) Johns, Kenneth(Jackie) Johns, and Dwaine Johns. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Betty Lewis and Erma Johnston
