Miller of Goff , Kans.and to them was born six children . two boys and four girls of which all are living except Fern Margaret , who died in infancy.He leaves to mourn his going .his kind and faithful wife and companion down through the years . his five children, Clinton and Ara Morris both of Holton . Mrs.W.P.Cummings of Soldier,Kans., Mrs. Seaman S.Peregrine of Holton and Mrs. Frank Riley of Kansas City . Mo., three grand children, two sisters and one brother . Mr. Morris was born ,grew up and lived on the farm untill about 20 years ago, when he moved to Holton, Kans, where he has lived ever since. He united with the United Brethren Church of Holton 16 years ago and remained a faithful member until that church was disbanded some years ago . where upon he , with many others of his faith, place his membership in the Evangelical Church of Holton, where he was a member at the time of his death. He was a member of the Men's Bible Class of the Evangelical Church and attended its meeting as long as his strength permitted. He was confined to his home during a long illness and all who knew him will miss him and remember him as patient in his suffering . He was a kind husband and father, well liked by all and a sincere friend to many . Funeral services were conducted in the Mercer Funeral Parlor by Rev.Shutts of the Pleasant Grove United Brethren Church Thursday afternoon Sermon subject, The Portrayal of God's Love Through the Love of Our Fathers' Three beautiful hymns, favorites of the deceased , were sung by Rev.and Mrs. Shutts with Miss Bernice Bussell at the piano. Those who acted as pall bearers were Geo. Hinnen , A.J.Ayers , F.K.Keller, Frank Reed , Geo. Stous and Nornal Mills.Interment was in the Holton cemetery.
