Description	:	William Earl Robertson, son of Harvey and Mary Janetta Robertson was born in Wayne County, Iowa September 22, 1889. He departed this life September 14, 1973 at the age of 83 years, 11 months, and 22 days. He had been a resident of the Corydon Manor Nursing Home the past three weeks. Read More	William Earl Robertson, son of Harvey and Mary Janetta Robertson was born in Wayne County, Iowa September 22, 1889. He departed this life September 14, 1973 at the age of 83 years, 11 months, and 22 days. He had been a resident of the Corydon Manor Nursing Home the past three weeks. On February 26, 1911 he was united in marriage to [Nettie] Bertha Gibbs [in Corydon, Iowa]. To this union was born two sons: Marvin Glenn of Davenport, Iowa and Loris Neal of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. Williams spent his entire life in Wayne County and was engaged in farming until he retired in 1970 at which time he moved to Allerton, Iowa. He was a faithful member of the New Zion Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Bertha in 1949, also his mother, father, two sisters, and one brother. William is survived by his two sons and their wives, four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a brother Charley Robertson of Allerton, Iowa. Services were held on Monday, September 17, 1973 at the Randolph Funeral Home Allerton, Iowa with Rev. Barbara Bullock and Rev. Keith Bullock officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. Howard Evitt, soloist, and Mrs. Orimal Bott, pianist. The pallbearers were: Sam Brock, Homer Shepherd, Raymond Casey, Pearl Binau, Bob Bennett and Harold Bennett.
