Description	:	William Edison, son of J. M. and Eliza Hall, was born in Tama County, Iowa, November 7, 1860. He departed this life December 13, 1947 at the age of 87 years, 1 month and 6 days. He grew to young manhood at the place of his birth. In the spring of 1879, he with his family moved to McCool, Neb., in a covered wagon, driving the stock before them. M. and Eliza Hall, was born in Tama County, Iowa, November 7, 1860. He departed this life December 13, 1947 at the age of 87 years, 1 month and 6 days. He grew to young manhood at the place of his birth. In the spring of 1879, he with his family moved to McCool, Neb., in a covered wagon, driving the stock before them. April they settled on a farm near McCool. Five years later, Mr. Hall moved to his own farm in Fillmore county, which had been his home ever since. He felt the great blizzard of 1888. The sturdy pioneers knew the hardships of the open prairie country. He loved the out-of-doors and even during the past couple of years when failing health overtook him, he still refused to leave the home he loved so well. He was reared in a Christian home and followed the teachings of his parents to the best of his ability. He leaves in passing one brother, John K. of Fairmont; four sisters and five brothers having preceded him beyond; thirteen nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Kritner funeral home. Rev. L. A. Fishel officiating. Oliver Moul sang, with Mrs. A. A. Ashby at the piano. Pallbearers were Harry Perkins, George White, W. R. Dorrance, Harry Smith, Otto Schmidt and Harley Fassnacht. Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery. Lot owner: J.M. Hall.
