At the age of sixteen, she moved with her parents to York county, Nebraska, where she was married to Miles Sherman Sweet on February 2, 1885. Read More	Geneva Florence Hall was born in Tampa county, Iowa, November 9, 1863, and died at her home near Fairmont, Nebraska on December 16, 1913, aged fifty years and twenty-two days. At the age of sixteen, she moved with her parents to York county, Nebraska, where she was married to Miles Sherman Sweet on February 2, 1885. To this union was born four daughters, one dying in infancy and three are still living--Mrs. Edith Tutty, Eva and Sylvia, who with her husband, a much beloved grandchild, little Leatha Tutty; one sister and three brothers survive her. The sister, Mrs. J.S. Galaway, W.E. and J.K. Hall, are all residents of Fairmont, while her other brother J.M. Hall lives at Alberta, Minnesota. From her earliest life, she was a devoted Christian, uniting first with the United Brethren church at McCool, Nebraska, and later with the Methodist Episcopal church at Fairmont. She evidenced her faith by a daily life of devotion to the work her Master gave her to do, namely, the rearing of her family and the care of her household affairs and by being cheerfully helpful to her neighbors who might be in need of her ministry. For some years she has been a sufferer but was so uncomplaining that her most intimate friends and often her very family little dreamed how much she was really suffering. Her patience and endurance of affliction were also a testimony to her reliance in her Master for support. Funeral services were held from the home Thursday, December fourth, at 11 o'clock a.m., Rev E.J.T. Connely of the Fairmont M.E. church in charge, and interment was made in the Fairmont cemetery.
