Description	:	NEWPORT NEWS-A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow for William Edward Dodd, 60, of 5303 Fairfax Ave., who died at 1 p.m. Sunday in Riverside Hospital here after a long illness. Mr. Dodd was born in Beech Grove in Nelson County on May 10, 1914, a son of the late Killian Cornelius "Kelly" Dodd and Hattie Matheny Dodd. He was a member of Beech Grove Christian Church and retired as a guard at Tenneco, Inc., of Newport News after 25 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alee B. He was a member of Beech Grove Christian Church and retired as a guard at Tenneco, Inc., of Newport News after 25 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alee B. Campbell Dodd; two daughters, Mrs. James (Bonnie Sue) Bryant of Ft. Sheridan, Ill., and Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Peck of Hampton; one brother, Saylor E. Dodd of Lynchburg; two sisters, Mrs. Robert K. (Margaret) Dungan of Route 3, Waynesboro, and Mrs. Thomas (Violet) Brownlee of Lyndhurst; four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Etter Funeral Home, Waynesboro, with burial in Beech Grove Christian Church cemetery. The body will remain in the Etter Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight. Active pallbearers will be Worthy Thompson, Garth Fields, Maphis Campbell, Luther McGann, Arthur Lowe, Layman Dodd and Robert Fields. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul M. Fields, Lester Fields, Berkeley Campbell, Thomas Campbell, J. E. Falls, Delmas Campbell, Stanley McGann, R. Shelby Fitzgerald, Lawney N.
