He was born Feb. 26, 1899, in Forest City, S.D., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kluth. The family moved to Williston, N.D., when he was a boy and in 1912 the family moved to Vida to homestead. He was born Feb. 26, 1899, in Forest City, S.D., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kluth. The family moved to Williston, N.D., when he was a boy and in 1912 the family moved to Vida to homestead. He married Edna Marie Kuester Dec. 27, 1921, in Sidney. He became a Gold Star father after his son, Harold, was killed in the Armed Forces during World War II. He retired from farming in 1963, but continued to make his home on the farm. He is survived by his widow; three sons, Donald and Bob, both of Vida, and Jack of Jonesburg, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Kurokawa of Wolf Point; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Farris of Wolf Point; and 13 grandchildren. Services at Clayton Memorial Chapel, Wolf Point. Burial in Vida cemetery.
