The body was removed to the Armour Undertaking Rooms at Houston where it was prepared for burial and was then taken to the home of his grandnarents. Mr. and Mrs. James Holleran of Canonsburg, R. D. 3, with whom he made his home. Mrs. William Holleran, mother of the victim, died suddenly at her home in Houston, April 25, of the present year. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Lane, Murray Hill. William Floyd Holleran who was a member of the Boy Scout Troop No. 1 of Houston, was popular with the young folks and was a member of the Greenslde Avenue U. P. church, Canonsburg. The unfortunate boy, who was riding on a truck driven by his uncle and was standing on the running board of the machine when in some manner he fell off and went under the rear wheel and his shoulder and neck were crushed. He was rushed to the hospital by Buck Jones, former Waynesburg College athlete, but lived only about twenty minutes. William Holleran and family formerly resided in East College street, after which they removed to Houston and continued to make that their home until the first of June, 1928. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock (e. s. t.) at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Holleran. Canonsburg, R. D. 3, and will be in charge of Rev. H. Ross Hume, pastor of the deceased. Automobiles will meet all street cars at Morganza from 11 a. m. Wednesday and will convey friends to the Holleran home to attend the funeral.
