Description	:	William Foster Lee Dead. William Foster Lee, a resident of Lyon county for 52 years, a retired farmer, died Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his home, 710 West. He had been on bad health four months and had been seriously sick two weeks. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Sutton Funeral home. Rev. C. E. Bess, pastor of the Free Methodist church, will conduct the services, assisted by Rev. Lloyd S. Cressman, pastor of the First Friends church, and Rev. J. C. Brogan, pastor of the Grace Methodist church. Interment will be in Americus cemetery. William Foster Lee was born April 20, 1854, in Friendsville, Tenn. He came to Lyon county in 1884 and lived in the Moon Creek vicinity before moving to Emporia in December 1907. Mr. Lee was married to Anna R. Little om March 15, 1900, in Emporia. Mr. Lee was a birthright member of the Cottonwood Friends church. Mr. Lee is survived by his widow; two daughters, Miss Edna and Miss Iris Lee, of the home; and two brothers, E. P. Lee, of Friendsville, Tenn., and E. H. Lee, of Goldendale, Wash. -Emporia Gazette, Thursday, June 11, 1936; p. 2, c. 3 _____ Funeral of W. F. Lee.
