Description	:	William Francis Brown, oldest child of Mrs. Daisy E. Brown and Mr. F.E. Brown was born December 18, 1906, near Brighton, Colorado, and was taken from us Thursday February 17, 1944, at the age of 37 years, one month and 30 days. When he was two years old the family moved to Greenwood County, Kansas, where he spent the remainder of his life. He became a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church at the age of eighteen and attended the Enterprise Academy the following year. He took an active part in church affairs. When he was two years old the family moved to Greenwood County, Kansas, where he spent the remainder of his life. He became a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church at the age of eighteen and attended the Enterprise Academy the following year. He took an active part in church affairs. He was united in marriage to Mildred Indermill on February 15, 1932. and to this union were born three children, Glenn Earl, 9; Daryl Dean, 6; and Marlys Joy, 2. His upright Christian character, his willingness to help others, and his cheerful disposition endeared him to many friends. The adored "big brother" will be sadly missed by his family. He became ill November 10th and was taken November 20th to the Wesley Hospital at Wichita. He returned to his home December 18th, where for a short time he seemed to be improving in health. He suffered a relape and was taken to the home of his mother in Eureka, February 1, where everything was done for him that loving hands could do. He was taken to the Bell Memorial Hospital at Kansas City. February 16th. During his long illness he patiently bore his suffering. He is survived by his wife and three children. his mother, father, five sisters, Mrs. Ethel Schreffler, Mrs. Hazel Lee, Mrs. Vera Glasco, of Eureka, Mrs. Noram Atchison of Kansas City, and Mrs. Wilma Bateson of Severy, Kansas, one brother, Mr. Wayne Brown of Piedmont, Kansas; one half brother, Mr. Fay Brown of Middleton, Indiana, and many other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Crook of Emporia was held from the Baird Funeral Home in Eureka, Sunday February 20. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
