Description	:	William F. Ristau, 82, of 518 S. Washington St., Apt. 1, died Sunday, Sept. 20, at St. Luke's Hospital. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Highland Township with the Rev. Raymond A. Giese officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Miller-Huebl Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church. Ristau and Marvin Ristau, both of Mansfield; Harvey Dahme, Mina; and Dale Peterson, Mellette. Mrs. Robert Ristau will be the organist. Ushers will be Howard Nelson and Delbert Brick, both of Aberdeen. Honorary casketbearers are all of his friends. William F. Ristau was born Feb. 23, 1899, on his parents farm near Mansfield. He attended rural school and married Ella Dahme on Sept. 21, 1921, at the church in Highland Township. They made their home on a farm. Mrs. Ristay died Dec. 23, 1955. He continued to live on the farm and later married Viola Turriff on Jan. 7, 1957, at Watertown. He retired from farming and moved to Aberdeen where he had since presided. They made their home in Lantana, Fla., during the winter months since 1957. He was a township clerk in New Hope Township for a number of years. Survivors include his widow; one son, Donald, of Mansfield; one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Phyllis) Jilek, Aberdeen; one brother, Arnold, of Mansfield; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
