Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Highland Township with the Rev. Raymond A. Giese and the Rev. Charles Lade officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Huebl Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday evening, all day Friday and until 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel and from 1 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church. Relatives are requested to meet at the church at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The family prefers memorials. Robert Ernst Ristau was born March 9, 1986, in New Hope Township, northwest of Mansfield. He attended rural school there and farmed with his parents. He married Sophia Luebke June 28, 1922, at Mansfield. They lived on the farm until 1961 when they retired and moved to Aberdeen. He had held various offices on the St. John's Lutheran Church board and was a 50-year member of the Lutheran Laymen's League. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Alvin of Aberdeen; and Robert, of Mansfield; two daughters, Mrs. Irl (Irene) Schaunaman, Warner; and Mrs. Lyle (Trudy) Schaunaman, Aberdeen; two brothers, William, of Lantana, Fla.; and Arnold, of Mansfield; and 14 grandchildren.
