Description	:	William F. Boger (1897 - 1974) William Fritz Boger, son of Fritz Boger and his wife, Ida nee Schlueter, was born in Paradise Township on Jan. 14, 1897. He was baptized in infancy and later confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He married Florence Schwiesow in 1920 and they made their home in Paradise Township. They remained on the farm until 1960 when they retired to Charter Oak. Mrs. Boger preceded him in death in 1964. Mr. Boger died June 9 in Charter Oak. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John (Mildred) Carstens of Yale, and Mrs. Caroll (Audrey) Steffen of Charter Oak and one son, Gerald Boger of Denison, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, five sisters, Mrs. Ella Schramm, Denison, Mrs. Hilda Kahl of Manning, Mrs. Anna Koch of Denison, Mrs. Amanda Hintz of Mapleton and Mrs. Hattie Kahl of Buck Grove. Preceding him in death were his wife, Florence, his parents, one sister, Mrs. Minnie Petersen and one brother, Herman. Funeral services were held at, the Zion Lutheran Church on Tuesday, June 11 with Rev. Carl W. Schmidt officiating. Burial was at the Memorial Heights Cemetery.
