Lamb, 66, Northern Pacific yardmaster, of 1333 East Lyndale, died unexpectedly Monday while a patient in a Missoula hospital. Mr. Lamb was born May 16, 1896, in Melville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Lamb. In May, 1930, he was married in Great Falls to the former Gladys Perry. They have resided here since that time. He had been employed by the railway since 1920. Mr. Lamb was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Railway Veterans, and long-time member of the Loyal Order of Moose. Surviving besides his widow, are three sons, Darrell, of Great Falls; Ben, of Hawthorne, Nev., and Delmar, of Missoula; two brothers, B. E. Lamb, Butte, and Henry, Phoenix, Ariz., and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday in the Chapel of Roses with Chaplain H. M. Waldron officiating. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery. Herrmann and Company Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Herrmann & Co., Funeral Home, Chapel of Roses, 314 N. Lamb Services Are Conducted Today Funeral services for William G. Lamb, 66, Northern Pacific yardmaster of 1333 East Lyndale, were conducted today in the Chapel of Roses with Chaplain H. M. Waldron officiating. Mr. Lamb died Monday in a Missoula hospital. Pallbearers were Frank Ursich, Frank Smith, Ruben Quinzer, Maurice German, Buck Miller, and Ray Cummings. Burial was in Forestvale Cemetery with military honors by Helena-East Helena veterans organizations. Herrmann and Company Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
