Description	:	George Lester, 90, of Sterling, died Oct. 12, 2004, in Sterling. Visitation is Oct. 15, from 10 a.m, to 5 p.m. at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Closed casket services are Saturday, Oct. 16, at 10 a.m., also at the funeral home, with Rev. Derek DeToni Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, with military rites by American Legion Post No. 20. Family and friends will father at the Sterling Elks Lodge after graveside services. Mr. Lester served in the Army during World War II, in Africa and Italy, and received two Bronze Stars. After the war, he farmed on the family homestead in the Kelly community He was a life member of Elks Lodge No. 1336. Mr. Lester is survived by daughters Eloise Garretson, Sterling, Karyn Brennen, Broomfield; son Morris Lester, Evans; sister Louise Schroeder, Sterling; 10 grandchildren; arid 12 great-grandchildren.
