Description	:	William Foster Muscatine Journal William H. Foster, 90, Lake township's oldest resident, died at his home at 4:30 a.m. today. A three week illness with influenza proved fatal. He had spent his entire life in Muscatine county. Mr. Foster was the last surviving member of his family. His parents, the late James and Malinda Boiler Foster came to Lake township from Ohio in a covered wagon and settled in Muscatine county in 1847. He had spent his entire life in Muscatine county. Mr. Foster was the last surviving member of his family. His parents, the late James and Malinda Boiler Foster came to Lake township from Ohio in a covered wagon and settled in Muscatine county in 1847. He was born in Lake township July 15, 1848 and married Mary Alice Chown on April 5, 1877. The couple celebrated its golden wedding anniversary on April 5, 1927. Surviving are the wife, two daughters, Mrs. R. H. Gertz of Lake township and Mrs. H. B. Leyda of Los Angeles Calif. Two sons, Frank Foster of Lake township and Carl Foster of Bloomington township. Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Two daughters preceded him in death. The body is at Hoffman Funeral home and will remain there for rites at the Hoffman Church at 2:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Fay Marriott of the High Prairie Methodist Episcopal church will be in charge.
