Owing to the nature of the cause of his death and the fact that the Squier home was under quarantine, funeral services were restricted to a brief burial service which was held at Grace Hill Cemetery Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Robert H. Forrester, pastor of the Methodist Church, in charge. William Harley Squier was born May 4, 1910, on the Squier farm, northeast of town, in Eagle township, so lacked a trifle more than a month of being 19 years of age. After finishing the country school he attended the Hawarden High School. He helped his father on the farm until they moved to town a year ago, since which time he has been employed on farms in this community. He is survived by his father, Ed. A. Squier, and three brothers, Wayne, Orville and Leland, all of Hawarden. His mother preceded him in death two years ago. Harley was an industrious young man with a very pleasing personality and leaves a host of friends outside the family circle who extend sincerest sympathy in their sad bereavement.
