Harvey Loe. aged 50, a native of Whitley county died at 7:35 o'clock Friday night at the Joseph Loe home on South Main street following a month's illness from a complication of several diseases. He had been in declining health for some time. William Harvey Loe was born on December 24, 1881 to Joseph and Phoebe Holycross Loe. He was married to Cora Yontz on December 24, 1906, the marriage occurring on the decedent's birthday. Surviving besides the widow and the parents are four brothers. John Loe of this city, James Ellsworth Loe of Columbia township, Earl Loe of Columbia City, and Murlen Loe, at home; two sisters, Mrs. W.S. Finton of this city and Mrs. Lyman Mosher of LaPort. The parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Loe, are both ill in bed at the present time and it is doubtful whether or not they can attend the funeral. Mr. Loe was a member of the Independent order of Redmen. During his long residence in Whitley county he made many friends. The body has been removed to the DeMoney Funeral Home. Friends will be received at the funeral home until the hour of the funeral. Funeral services will be in charge of Rev. N.C. McCoy of the United Brethren church and will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the DeMoney Funeral Home. Burial will be made in South Park cemetery. McCoy of the United Brethren church at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the DeMoney Funeral Home for William Harvey Loe. Music atthe service was furnished by the South Whitley male quartet. The pall bearers included J.M. Haynes, William Waugh, G.W. Darr, Albert Neible, Carl Foster and Korah Pressler. Burial was made in South Park cemetery.
