He passed away Nov. 18 at the age of 76 years. He was united in marriage to Elva Mae Foster Feb. 18, 1919. To this union two sons were born. He had been a resident of Iowa County all his life. He passed away Nov. 18 at the age of 76 years. He was united in marriage to Elva Mae Foster Feb. 18, 1919. To this union two sons were born. He had been a resident of Iowa County all his life. He farmed for several years and he was in the trucking business at Ladora. He was an Iowa county supervisor until his retirement. Mr. Henry has had ill health the past six years. He was a member of the Ladora Methodist church and the IOOF lodge of Victor. He is survived by his wife, Elva, two sons, Orville of Molridge, S.D., William Jr. of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Eunice Smith of Victor, Bertha Fleming of San Jose, Calif., five grandchildren, Larry Henry of Glendale Heights Chicago, Bill Henry of Oregon, Kevin of New Zealand, Christie of Spaybauer Palo Alto, Calif., and John of cincinnati, Ohio; three great grandchildren, Thersa, Brendon, and Jessica, besides other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 21, at 2 o'clock at McAninch chapel in Victor with Rev. Edard Petersen, pastor of the Ladora Methodist church officiating; two organ solos, "Beyond the Sunset" and "In the Garden" were played by Mrs. Ireta Daniels. Flowers were cared for by Mrs. T. E. Smith, and Mrs. Margaret Daniels. Casket bearers were John Lehman, Gary Foster, Gaylor Lehman, Robert Womer, Joe Williams and Jerry Womer with burial in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Victor.
