She was born May 8, 1899 at Victor, the daughter of John and Catherine Dalzell Foster and attended school in the rural Victor schools. On Feb. 18, 1919 she married William H. Henry Sr. at Marengo. She lived in the Ladora and Victor areas all her life until moving to Arkansas in 1984 to be with her family. She had been a member of the United Methodist Church, Ladora, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Rebekahs, the Order of the Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary, Ladora. While in Iowa county she had contributed many volunteer hours at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Iowa City. Surviving are two sons, Orville Henry, Pencil Bluff, Ark., and William Henry Jr., Solana Beach, Calif; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by an infant brother, her sister, Zella Lehman, and two brothers, Rex and David Foster.
