Description	:	William Henry Bauer was born to William and Sarah Bauer on June 29, 1927, at Sutton, and passed away on November 2, 1984, at his home in Geneva at the age of 57 years, four months and three days. He was one of nine children. He was baptized as an infant in Sutton and was instructed in God’s Word and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church of Geneva on May 7, 1944. Read More	William Henry Bauer was born to William and Sarah Bauer on June 29, 1927, at Sutton, and passed away on November 2, 1984, at his home in Geneva at the age of 57 years, four months and three days. He was one of nine children. He was baptized as an infant in Sutton and was instructed in God’s Word and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church of Geneva on May 7, 1944. He served as elder at Grace Lutheran Church from 1979-1982, and was active in the church throughout his lifetime. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea from 1946-1951. On April 17, 1955, He was united in marriage to Leora R. Meyer at Immanuel Lutheran Church in York. The Lord blessed this union with five children. He farmed near Geneva until he started working at Geneva Implement where he had been employed since December 1960. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sarah Bauer. He is survived by brothers, Ronald Bauer and wife, Kathy, of Hemet, Cal., Lawrence Bauer and wife, Ethel, of Geneva, and Lorraine Bauer of Clay Center, sisters, Ilene Miller and husband Harold, of Clay Center, Ruth Schmidt and husband, Harold, of Omaha, Dona Ulmer and husband Walter, of Clay Center, Marian Griess and husband, Walter of Sutton, and Betty Hesselgesser and husband, Robert, of Belfair, Wash.; children William Bauer Jr. and wife, Vicky, of Geneva, James Bauer of Okinawa, Japan, David Bauer of San Diego, Ca., Pam Kaiser and husband Phillip, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Beverly Bauer of Geneva; grandchildren, Dawn and Tony Bauer of Geneva; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. He will always be remembered for his work at church and his sense of humor. Funeral services were conducted at Grace Lutheran Church in Geneva on Tuesday, November 6.
