Description	:	William Cackler, 85, died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, at the Davidson nursing home in Horton. The family lived in Sabetha for many years. He was born in Iowa Nov 3, 1868, and was married to Cora Triggs in 1889. They were the parents of nine children all of whom survive. They include: Five daughters, Mrs. Gus Lang and Mrs. C.H. Albrecht of Van Nuys, Calif., Mrs. Carl McClellan, Rapid City, Ill., Mrs. Lydia McDaniels, Fairbury, Neb., and Miss Billie Cackler, Decatur, Ill.; four sons, Charles Cackler, Los Angeles, Calif., Clarence, Clint and John... Read More	William Cackler, 85, died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, at the Davidson nursing home in Horton. The family lived in Sabetha for many years. He was born in Iowa Nov 3, 1868, and was married to Cora Triggs in 1889. They were the parents of nine children all of whom survive. They include: Five daughters, Mrs. Gus Lang and Mrs. C.H. Albrecht of Van Nuys, Calif., Mrs. Carl McClellan, Rapid City, Ill., Mrs. Lydia McDaniels, Fairbury, Neb., and Miss Billie Cackler, Decatur, Ill.; four sons, Charles Cackler, Los Angeles, Calif., Clarence, Clint and John Cackler of Horton. He also leaves 16 grandchildren and nine great grand children. Funeral services were held at the Rake Mortuary Thursday with Rev. C. R. Brooks of the Christian church officiating. Burial was in the Sabetha cemetery beside his wife. ---The Sabetha Herald, Wednesday, August 5, 1953 Clay County, Iowa Marriage Records show the marriage for William Henry Cackler and Cora Belle Triggs took place on April 17, 1888.
