Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am At Lahey Funeral Home in Wyoming. Burial will be held in the Wyoming Cemetery, Wyoming. William Henry McCalmant was born on December 8, 1937 in Wyoming, Iowa the son of, William E. and Ruth (Parsons) McCalmant. He attended the Wyoming School. He married Georgia Ann Ellison. She preceded him in death. He worked on the railroad for nine years and then he worked at Clinton Engines in Maquoketa until 1978. Bill loved children, fishing, mushrooming and playing cards. He is survived by, two daughters, Roxanne Ostrander and Becky Dague both of Farmington, Minnesota and one son, Ronnie (& Linda) McCalmant of Northfield, Minnesota. 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. 2 sisters, Thelma (Mrs. Elmer) Rohlena of Norway and Rose Mere of Wyoming. 3 brothers, George McCalmant of Wyoming, John (& Marjorie) McCalmant of Marion and Ben McCalmant of Wrightstown, New Jersey, and a special friend, Geneva Rohwedder of Onslow. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Velma Marie McCalmant and Donna Mott and four brothers, Bob, Charlie, Skee and Ivan McCalmant. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
