Description	:	(KS) Belleville Telescope Jan. 13, 1955 William Henry Meyers, was born to Hans and Rochel Meyers on January 28, 1882, and passed away at Belleville hospital January 3, 1955, at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 6 days. His boyhood was spent on a farm one and a half miles west of Brantford, Kan. He was united in marriage to Jennie Holmberg of Clyde June 18, 1906. His boyhood was spent on a farm one and a half miles west of Brantford, Kan. He was united in marriage to Jennie Holmberg of Clyde June 18, 1906. They continued to live within a mile of the Brantford townsite through the remaining years of their marriage. To them were born three sons, Elden, Wilmer and Kenneth. Jennie passed away July 25, 1924. In September, 1936, William moved with the boys to a farm near Agenda. There, on April 23, 1928, Will and Winona Graham were united in wedlock and to this union a son, Warren, was born. In 1937, the family moved to Munden where they have since made their home. Always willing to partake in the affairs of the community to the best of his ability, he was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows since early life. A good neighbor, a wonderful father, he was everybody's friend. Preceded in death by a son, Wilmer during the second World War, he leaves to mourn his passing, his three sons, Elden of Elgin, Neb., Kenneth of Salina and Warren of the home; a step-son, James Graham of Wenatchee, Wash.; five grandsons; one sister, Mary Calder of Carnegie, Okla.; nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held with those of his wife January 7 at the Munden Methodist church with the Rev. J. Holland Vernon officiating. Burial was in Ida cemetery.
