Description	:	He was the son of the late William H. and Emma Ledford Morton. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Meredith, Vester and Pete Morton; a sister, Nellie Sherfey; two daughters, Patsy and Karen; and a granddaughter, Jeannie Morton. Mr. Morton was a member of Upper Gap Creek Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as choir leader and deacon for 53 years, and was also the leader for the Upper Gap Creek Quartet. He was retired from North American Rayon Corporation after 43 years of service as a Supervisor in Vinyl Coating. Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m....
