Mr. Nolker, a son of Frederick and Judith Trigg Nolker, was born Jan. 18, 1863, in Saline County, MO. He spent the greater part of his life in the Wellsville, Kans, community. He had been a member of the Wellsville, Kans., Baptist church for many years. He was united in marriage at Kingston, on Nov. 14, 1886, to Mary Frances Goe, who died Oct. 11, 1935. To this union were born nine children. Two died in infancy. A daughter, Mrs. R.N. Clay, died in Kansas City in 1905. A granddaughter, now, Mrs. Harry Sheilds, Wellsville Kans, was cared for since she was two weeks old by Mr. and Mrs Nolker and reared as one of their own children. The surviving children are; W.N. Nolker, Lawson; Mrs Lloyd McCaughery, Olathe, Kans; Mrs. Frank Shannon, Wellsville, Kans; Mrs. G.E. Russell, Emporia, Kans; and Lynn E. Nolker, LeRoy, ILL. Then grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Other immediate relatives are two bothers, John Nolker and Gus Nolker, Lawson and four sisters, Mrs. John Hill, Mrs. Joel Denton and Mrs. Earl Cox, Lawson, and Mrs. Bettie Williams, Sedalia. The funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m., Monday at the Jarman=Prichard Funeral Home in Lawson by Rev. Leon Clevenger. There was a large attendance of relatives and friends. Selected songs were sung by Wayne Briant, who was accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Carlos Hill. The pallbearers were his sons, W.N. Nolker and Lynn E. Nolker; his sons in law, Lloyd Mccaughey, G.E. Russell and Harry Shields and his grandson Wm. Nolker, Jr.. Burial was in the Wellsville, Kansas, cemetery. Graveside services were held at Wellsville. Relatives and friends going to Wellsville from here included, Lynn E. Nolker; Mr and Mrs. Noble Nolker, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Nolker; Stephen Nolker, miss Kathleen Nolker, Gus Nolker, Mr. and Mrs. John William Nolker, Murle Nolker, May Denton, Mrs. Harry Rhodus, Mrs Merle Green, Gene Helm, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Denton; Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Hill.
