Description	:	W. H. Thompson, a well to do and respected farmer of Hazel Green township while temporarily insane last Friday morning killed himself by placing the muzzle of his shot gun in his mouth, which when discharged cleft his skull in two. Mr. Thompson has been a tireless worker, by his ceaseless labor and brain force he has made for himself a place among the most prominent and prosperous farmers of Delaware county. During the past summer he practically worked night and day, which no doubt accounts for the nervous condition of his health, which lead to this last fearful act. When he arose Friday morning at about five o'clock he exclaimed "My head, oh, my head!" and immediately afterwards he stepped into a closet off the dining room and committed suicide as before mentioned. He was a man probably in the forties and leaves a wife and family of seven children. The funeral services were held at the Buck Creek church Sunday afternoon at half past two.
