Description	:	William Ireland, aged 70 years, who spent the greater part of his life In Canonsburg, died Monday, December 2, 1929, at 2:30 p. m., at his home in Broad street, Washington, following an attack of pneumonia. While residing here, the deceased was employed for many years at the Budke mill, and for a short time at the Fort Pitt Bridge Works. About 27 years ago the family re moved to Washington, and in 1901 Mr. Ireland entered the employ of the Hazel Atlas Glass company in the Number 2 factory. He was a member of the Broad Street Baptist church, Washington, and his fraternal affiliations were the Order of Redmen, the Foresters of America and the Royal Arcanum. His wife, Mary Ireland, died September 22, 1928. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. William Bird and Mrs. Thomas Sims, of Canonsburg; Mrs. Harry McKnight, Mrs. Lonnie Morris, Mrs. William Donkin and Mrs. J. C. Sampson, all of Washington. The following brothers and sisters also survive: John E. and Joseph Ireland, of Perry, N. Y.; Thomas, of England; Mrs. George Lines, of Lyster, N. Y.; Mrs. Mary A. Miller, of Rochester, N. Y., and Mrs. James Longfoot, of Curriesville, N. Y. Funeral services will be held in the late home, Broad street, Washington, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. Arthur D. Smalley and Rev. S. L. Parcell.
