Description	:	William Ithaeur Templeton, son of Theodore and Elizabeth Templeton was born in Monroe county, October 28, 1857 and passed away, at his home in Eddyville, May, 31, 1937, after an illness of six weeks, at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 3 days. He was united in marriage to Emma Florence Emanuel on Nov. 24, 1878. To this union nine children were born. His wife and three children having preceded him in death. Mrs. Willis Noe, Mrs. W.H. Brown and Raymond in infancy. He leaves to mourn his death two sons, Frank and John of Eddyville, four daughters Mrs. W.E. Long, Mrs. Cecil Garrett and Goldie of Eddyville, Mrs. Hi Davis of Melcher. Nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He lived all of his life within a few miles of Eddyville where he gained a host of friends. Mr. Templeton was a faithful friend and a kind, loving father. One who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services were held from his late home Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock.
