Rasmuson Son of William J. and Emma J. (Krambeer) Rasmuson: was baptized in infancy and confirmed at a tender age. He received his education in the rural school near Eagle Lake and the Britt school. On October 31, 1938 he was united in marriage to Carol Cosgriff, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Ed Cosgriff. Their wedding took place at Blue Earth, Minn. They established their home on a farm near Britt and had farmed in the area their entire lives. Their home was blessed with two daughters and three sons. The family were active members of the Congregational United Church of Christ. He had served as a rural school director for many years. "Bill" as he was known to his family and friends was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed friendship with his large number of acquaintances. In recent years he held a responsible position with Winnebago Industries up to the time he entered the hospital. His life always centered with his family. He is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Marilyn and her husband Raymond Bruns, Robert and his wife, the former Erlis Trulson, both of Britt; Marjorie and her husband Jerry Schrader, Keokuk, Ia.; James, Manly, Ia.; William Jr. and his wife, the former Donna Brunsen, Britt, Ia.; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Albert and his wife Helen L.; Lloyd and his wife, Helen A.; one sister-in-law, Keota; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald.
