Bateson, Joe Dedrick, Neil Williams, Harry Marks, Leo Williams and Harry Kerkhuff. Mr. Martin was born March 25, 1859, on a farm east of Eldora. He operated a grocery business in Eldora and for many years was proprietor of a clothing business located where Diamond's Grocery Store now is. For approximately 40 years he was in the stock buying business in Hardin County and retired only a few years ago. Only survivors are his wife, a sister, Mrs. Ethel Ellsworth, of Eldora and several nieces and nephews. There are no children.
