Petrick Sr., 50 years old, a founder and past commander of the Hamilton Park post of the American Legion, died Sunday of a heart ailment in Hines hospital. __Mr. Petrick, who lived at 7414 Wentworth ave., served as Cook county chairman of junior baseball in 1944 and for several years held the post of Third district athlete chairman of the Legion. He was a member of the Fort Dearborn Legion post before aiding in the establishment of the Hamilton Park post three years ago. __He also was a member of the Legion Past Commanders' club and the Holy Name society of St. Carthage church, 7315 Yale ave. __Born in Fairfax, Ia., Mr. Petrick assisted in the organization of a Legion post there before coming to Chicago. He was employed as a field representative for the State of Illinois Rehabilitation department. __He is survived by his widow, Philomena; two daughters, Dolores and Donna Mae, two sons, John F. and William J. Jr., and a granddaughter. __Funeral services will be held for him tomorrow in Cedar Rapids, Ia. Burial will be in St. Patrick cemetery, Fairfax.
