Description	:	MUSCOTAH MAN DIES AT HORTON William J. Schiffbauer, 91, Muscotah, died Sunday at the Horton hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Muscotah Methodist church and burial will be in the Muscotah cemetery with Masonic graveside services. Mr. Schiffbauer was born March 29, 1874, at Arrington, a son of Henry and Margaret Schiffbauer. He attended school at Arrington and later farmed in that community. He had been a Muscotah resident since 1957. He and the former Ella Stauffer of Arrington were married June 1, 1904. He was a member of the Muscotah Methodist church, Muscotah Masonic lodge 116, Muscotah OES, and was a past patron. He also was a member of the Crescent White Shrine. Mr. Schiffbauer served as a trustee of Kapioma township several years. He enjoyed growing flowers and was an ardent gardener. Surviving are Mrs. Schiffbauer of the home; two brothers, R. I. Schiffbauer, Holton, and Henry Schiffbauer, San Antonio, Tex., and nine nieces and nephews. Three sisters and a brother died previously.
