Description	:	William L. "Bill" Brennan, 83, of Berthoud, Colo., formerly of Lima, died at 1:35 p.m. April 23, 2013, at Berthoud Living Center, Berthoud, Colo. He was born June 18, 1929, to Cletus"Keech" and Kathryn, "Katie" Brennan, who preceded him in death. He married Rosemary Silone in February 1948, who preceded him in death. He graduated from St. Gerard High School and joined the Navy shortly thereafter. He was a member of Life Underwriters, and retired from Prudential Insurance in 1985. He attended St. Gerard Church and was an active member of the Holy Name Society and Parish Council before leaving the area. Bill was an avid golfer and enjoyed being with family. Bill is survived by daughters, Cathy Lynn Brennan, of Hendersonville, N.C., and Kelly West, of Marietta, Ga.; sons, Craig (Jennie), of Loveland, Colo., and Kyle (Janie) of Aurora, Colo.; a twin brother, Thomas of Massillon; a sister, Sheila (Joe) Silone, of Lima; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom he dearly loved; and 11 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an older brother, Robert "Bob" Brennan from Murieta, Calif.; and two nephews, Terrance and Brian Brennan. A memorial service will be held at at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Gerard Catholic Church, Lima. Burial of the cremains will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima. Lima News August 1, 2013
