Description	:	W.L.(Dutch) Willcox was born at Elmo, Mo., Aug. 3, 1903, the son of Elmer and Jennie Willcox. He died Tuesday, April 24, at the Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior at the age of 75. With his family he moved to the Superior area at the age of three years. He married Lena Craig on Jan. 1, 1923. He was sheriff of Nuckolls County for 14 1/2 years. After retiring from the sheriff's office he had a sporting goods store for serveral years. Read More	W.L.(Dutch) Willcox was born at Elmo, Mo., Aug. 3, 1903, the son of Elmer and Jennie Willcox. He died Tuesday, April 24, at the Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior at the age of 75. With his family he moved to the Superior area at the age of three years. He married Lena Craig on Jan. 1, 1923. He was sheriff of Nuckolls County for 14 1/2 years. After retiring from the sheriff's office he had a sporting goods store for serveral years. He belonged to the National Sheriffs' Association and Peace Officers' Association and had been a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows for 30 years. He is survived bu his widow, Lena; son, Clark; grandsons, Lynn and Lee; and two great grandchildren. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, at the Montgomery-Williams Funeral Home, the Rev. Marion Knoell, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery at Superior. Superior Express May 3, 1979
