Description	:	Here are my notes for William, from his entry in my family tree file- Rick Waggener: William Merritt Ashley was born to his parents Jabez Ashley, Jr. and Lavina L. Partridge, in apparently October of 1847, in Rensselaer County, New York. In about 1852- 1853, he moved with his parents to Windsor Township, Eaton County, Michigan. There he apparently grew up on his parents farm and on June 2, 1878, married Jessie Graham. William Merritt was a farmer also, and he and Jessie lived the rest of their lives in the same area on a farm. They raised six children that...
