Born August 28, 1920, at Frankford, he was the son of the late William Moore, Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Morton Higginbotham. Mr. Higginbotham was a member of the Frankford United Methodist Church, was a former employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways and was a retired farmer. Born August 28, 1920, at Frankford, he was the son of the late William Moore, Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Morton Higginbotham. Mr. Higginbotham was a member of the Frankford United Methodist Church, was a former employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Greenbrier County Farm Bureau, National Transportation Association, charter member of the Frankford Ruritan Club and the Frankford Volunteer Fire Department. He was a former trustee of the Greenbrier County Youth Camp and the Soil Conservation Commission and was a former owner of the Frankford Hardware Company. Survivors include his wife, Lula Bennett Higginbotham; two sons, William M. Higginbotham III of White Sulphur Springs and Charles A. Higginbotham of Frankford; two daughters, Mrs. Stephen (Margaret) Snyder of Tyler, Texas and Mrs. Sam (Lucy) Banton of Frankford; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Shanklin Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs. Burial will be in the Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg. Any donations of sympathy may be made to the Greenbrier County Youth Camp or to the Northern Greenbrier Ambulance Service.
