Description	:	William Rasmussen was born November 27, 1866 in Loland, Denmark and passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harold Coe, Friday evening, April 25 at the age of 85 years, 4 months and 29 days. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Denmark. In the year 1888 he immigrated to the United States, locating at Lincoln, Nebraska. Read More	William Rasmussen was born November 27, 1866 in Loland, Denmark and passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harold Coe, Friday evening, April 25 at the age of 85 years, 4 months and 29 days. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Denmark. In the year 1888 he immigrated to the United States, locating at Lincoln, Nebraska. Here he was united in marriage to Marie Adams, and to this union nine children were born, five of whom have preceded him in death. Mrs. Rasmussen passed away in 1933. They farmed in the Bennett, Nebraska neighborhood for seventeen years and in 1908 they moved to Wolbach and farmed here until 1926, when they moved to town on account of Mrs. Rasmussen's health. Mr. Rasmussen has been in ill health since last winter, when he wandered away from home and was lost for twelve hours in a snow storm. He will be greatly missed in his home and by all who knew him. He is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Mabel Coe of Wolbach and Mrs. Rose Martin of North Hollywood, California., and by two sons, Fred of Detroit, Mich and Carl of Los Angeles, Calif., also by eighteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
