Description	:	I've only recently learned of William's marriage to Francis Elizabeth Herbert so for now, this will be too short. He was born in 1844 in Pennsylvania to Clark and Rachel Polack Brant. Sixty four years later, he married Francis Elizabeth Herbert. They had known each other for 35 years!Francis had been housekeeper for her brother, John Briggs Herbert for many years. He died in February of 1907 and this wedding took place on December 26th, 1908. William's first wife was a Jennie. It appears they divorced and she remarried, becoming Jennie Davis. Francis predeceased him in 1926. She is buried in the Corydon Cemetery, Corydon, Wayne County, Iowa with her brother, John Briggs Herbert. ***Oh, the child connected here, Grace Lida Brant Lovett is from William's first marriage and not his marriage to Francis.
