He was the brother of Theophilus Ring Estey, also interred at this cemetery. He was born at Queensbury, and married Lucretia Estabrooks, in Fredericton on October 29, 1819. She was the daughter of Joseph Estabrooks and Lucretia Handy, and granddaughter of Elijah Estabrooks.
