Johnson, had just moved to a farm east of Frederika. They had been assisted in moving by Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johnson and before they were settled the whole family, thirteen in all came down with influenza. Along with the persons named in the article the three children of Amos and Flora and four children of Elmer and Martha Johnson were affected. It is speculation but it appears Flora's father William was the person taken to Independence as he died there on January 13, 1921.
