Description	:	Bryson City - William Terry Crisp, 54, of Bryson City, died unexpectedly in an accident Sunday, July 18, 2004. He was the son of Geneva Watson Crisp of Bryson City and the late Porter Crisp. He retired after working many years in law enforcement in Swain and Buncombe Counties. Upon leaving public service, he studied with his mentor Jim Morrell, Martial Arts Master. He is survived by... Read More	Bryson City - William Terry Crisp, 54, of Bryson City, died unexpectedly in an accident Sunday, July 18, 2004. He was the son of Geneva Watson Crisp of Bryson City and the late Porter Crisp. He retired after working many years in law enforcement in Swain and Buncombe Counties. Upon leaving public service, he studied with his mentor Jim Morrell, Martial Arts Master. He is survived by his wife, Beth Rickman Crisp; daughter, Melanie Thompson and her husband, Gaither; son, Brandon Crisp and his wife, Jamie; two granddaughters, Lawson and Kenley Thompson, all of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; stepchildren, Ercell Watkins of Cherokee and Nikki Watkins of Bryson City; sister, Bunny Burnett and her husband, Bill; nephew, Donald Guge and his wife, Kim, of Asheville; and nieces, Michelle Brown and Tyra Greene and their families of Bryson City. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the funeral service immediately following at 8 p.m., at the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Sale will officiate, with burial in Swain Memorial Park. Bob Ogle, Bobby McHan, Chip Rickman, Charlie Rickman, Randy Beck and Donald Guge will serve as pallbearers. He now rests beside his uncle Stanley Crisp whose memorial you also manage.
