Mr. Somers died last Saturday in the Eastern Shore State Hospital, Cambridge, after a long illness. Officiating was the Rev. Warren W. Burnham of the Crisfield First Baptist Church. Interment was in Crisfield Cemetery. Mr. Somers was a member of Mariners United Methodist Church. Born here, he was a son of the late Tobias and Matilda Sterling Somers.
