Description	:	William Eadie Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 3, at the Tracy Funeral Home, for William "Bill" Wallace Eadie of Little Current. Mr. Eadie died suddenly, Monday November 30. He was in his 48th year. A son of Robert Eadie and the late Mrs. Eadie, Mr. Eadie was born at Kelliher, Saskatchewan, and educated at Green Bush. Mr. Eadie joined the Canadian Army in 1941 and served overseas until 1945. Following his discharge from the army he returned to Little Current. He was in his 48th year. A son of Robert Eadie and the late Mrs. Eadie, Mr. Eadie was born at Kelliher, Saskatchewan, and educated at Green Bush. Mr. Eadie joined the Canadian Army in 1941 and served overseas until 1945. Following his discharge from the army he returned to Little Current. He was a member of the Loyal Orange Lodge for more than 30 years and a member of Canadian Legion, Branch 177, Little Current. Besides his father, he is survived by two sisters, Isabel ( Mrs. Bill LaFrentz) of North Surrey, British Columbia; Ethel (Mrs. William Alexander) of Providence Bay; one brother, Albert, of Little Current; three step-sisters, Wilhelmine (Mrs. John Smith) of Mindemoya; Doreen (Mrs. Bill Taylor Jr.) of Little Current; Evelyn of Honora; and a step-brother Bob, also of Honora. A brother John was killed in action in Sicily in 1942. Rev. Robert Wagner officiated at the funeral service. Special services were conducted by the Loyal Orange Lodge under the direction of W. L. Everitt, Wednesday evening, December 2. Pallbearers, all, Legionaires were, Boyne Heise, Peter McNeil, Mose Stringer, Edward Cooper, Douglas Fenton and Frank Pyette. Special graveside services were conducted by members of Canadian Legion, under the direction of Leonard Campbell. Interment took place at Mountain View Cemetery. Out of town relatives attending the funeral were Ross Eadie and Mr. and Mrs. John Alexander, all of Sudbury; and Mr. and Mrs. William Lafrentz of North Surrey, B.C.
