Description	:	Ethel Florence Alexander August 31, 1913 - May 12, 2004 Ethel Alexander, a resident of the Manitoulin Lodge and formerly of Providence Bay, died at the Lodge on Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at the age of 90 years. She was born in Western Canada, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eadie and had been a homemaker and living in the Providence Bay area since coming to Manitoulin at an early age. She was born in Western Canada, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eadie and had been a homemaker and living in the Providence Bay area since coming to Manitoulin at an early age. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and especially loved her cats and dogs. She moved to Manitoulin Lodge about one year ago. Predeceased by her husband William Alexander in 1973. Dearly loved mother of Reta Bock (Herman predeceased) and Albert Alexander, both of Providence Bay, and Bessie Fitzsimmons (husband Floyd predeceased) of Hanover and daughter-in-law of Eileen Adams of Verner. Predeceased by son Jim and his wife Betty Loke and son John. Proud grandmother of Jamie, wife Barbara Brown, Richard, wife Diane, Sherri, Heather, husband Mike, Brian, wife Sheila, Robert, wife Bev, Ferguson and Gayle Gastard, husband Rufus and great grandchildren, Aaron, Sarah, Philip, Heidi, Scott, Brandon, Bobby, Becky, Curtis, Alexander, Joseph and great great grandchildren Alexis and Skylar. Dear sister of Albert Eadie and his wife Verna of Little Current and Isabel LaFrance, husband Bill of B.C., and half sisters Wilhemina Smith, Doreen Taylor, Evelyn Bailey and half brother Robert Eadie, wife Barbara. Predeceased by brothers Bill and Johnny. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends called at the Salem Missionary Church, Spring Bay after 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The funeral service was conducted at the Church on Friday, May 14, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Providence Bay Cemetery.
